long weekend

This is my first long weekend that I actually can enjoy;)this is the time that undergrads are going crazy because of exams..and no more exams for me:)yeeey...anyways..last night was the usual Mohandes gathering...Mohandes gives out the thank you gifts to all of the speakers and Mr. Arabi who did a wonderful job at presenting got one as well..but the key point is that..I had to read the written script on it..anyways I practiced it several times in the washroom;)before it was time..and when it was time and I had to go and read it..I was a bit nervous..the only problem was that I couldn't breathe!!!I was reading it fast and no time for getting air...but no mistake:)
another thing that happened was seeing one of the people that I met once and forgot about in the meeting...its funny how your taste changes in a year..I used to think that he was super handsome and now that I saw him...he was okay..no that handsome!!anyways I think one of the reason for this is that I am seeing now the inner beauty rather than outside...and how exactly your behaviour changes it...an angle in a beast body or vice versa...

I was talking to this friend of mine yesterday,he mentioned his friend's name and family name and I was shocked!!it was the same as my friend's last name in my middle school in Iran!!!Really world is a small place:)I was trying to see how she is doing and now knowing my friend has his brother's email I will know for sure:)unbelievable...Hoda jan..I really miss you..both of you;)I will never forget the last time we all went to Rouhani's house and celebrated our last year of middle school:)we had such good memories...
Its funny I thought I had lost all those memories...when we came here I tried to forget everything about my past...kinda block it...so I won't feel depressed...now slowly by slowly they are all coming back and this time..it's okay becuase I am surrounded by so many nice and loving people that its just going to be a complimantory to what I have now...

last night 3 of my classmates and I went to a greek restuarant called Penelope..it was a nice place but the strange thing was that the waiters mostly were middle aged people..I felt kind of bad..I am sure they have had some sort of degree back home and now because they can't find a job in their field now they have to do this job..not that there is anything wrong with waiting on tables but the fact that they are doing it at this age makes me think...
Anyways since I have decided to start being adventurous;)I decided to try some thing new other that the usual stuff I order..tried greek Butchera..and something else that has egg plants in them I am not sure what is called..I am sure if I see it on the menu I can recognize it;)...but what I can't beilieve the most is that it is now a year that we all are graduated..and our lives have changed..Lina is getting married..bought a house and is working...Christine moved to Sarnia..and working and new relationship..and Muna is doing her masters and a probable relationship;)!!the status is unknown..and well my picture of my future wasn't what I drew last year..so when it becomes perfect I will tell it;)but as a whole I am happy...the fact that I am involved in so many different organization as Steven said is making me be ahead of the game;)...I am beigning to learn to be patient with my life...and finally enjoy..life is too short to worry...
